Great food, great team. If you are looking for an amazing food experience, Solaia is the spot. Some of the best food paired with the friendliest and top quality service. It is a regular date spot for my wife and I. Great cocktails too!
Ill say this…. Service was fantastic, atmosphere was great, the drinks were yummy and portions were good. However, all of us that got the gnocchi (tried all three), no one loved it. I ended sending my carbonara back which they were nice about. My friends weren’t impressed by the pasta at all. The arancini was yummy and my friend that got the tuna said it was really good. I just don’t think the gnocchi is anything special here, I’d get something else. The texture was… off. Still was a nice night.
Solaia was absolutely incredible! Everything was delicious - the food was seriously exceptional. Above all - our server, Zion, made the entire experience amazing! His recommendations were fantastic and the service was top notch!
As shown above Solaia is a great place to dine! Added bonus you don’t pay extra for sparkling water or bread. On a few occasions the owner has even come out to see how our meal was. A definite go to place to dine.
Very bad attitude here, Walked in last night for a late dinner, the host asked if we had a reservation. When we said no he sighed and looked around at the tables. He sat us at a table beside a refrigerator. My date said the bathroom was worse than a McDonald’s bathroom, filthy. We read the menu and were disappointed with the options so we got up and left. A lady who worked there came by and looked shocked that we wanted to leave. Overall very snooty attitude here, we are a young, well dressed couple and wanted to have a nice birthday dinner but their attitude here pushed us out and we went elsewhere. Judging by the review photos I can see now that the gnocchi looks mushy so I’m glad we didn’t eat here.
We dined at Solaia for my sisters 25th birthday and had heard great things. When we arrived at the restaurant we let the host know we were going to be 7 people instead of our original reservation for 6 as someone joined us last minute. We were very aware they may not be able to accommodate us as it was a last minute change. When we told the host he sighed under his breath and pretty well rolled his eyes. He didn’t respond and began to set up a placing at the table of 6. This made us feel very uneasy in the first 20 minutes of us being there, he didn’t make eye contact nor did he come to check in on us, he seemed very annoyed by us. The waitress was subpar and did not interact with us much outside of asking for our orders, which for a place like this with prices as high as they are you expect a higher level of service. I will say the bartender was fantastic, he came to our table to discuss the wines we chose and made fabulous cocktails. By the end of the night we were footing a bill for $1000 in food + drinks and although the food was delicious the overall service needs some serious attention.
What a wonderful restaurant. Everyone was so friendly. Food was out of this world. Celebrated our daughter’s birthday what a memorable evening. Thank you so much everyone for making this a special evening.
