Unfortunately just another St Catharines staple that has nose dived. I asked for Chicken shwarma, but what they serve now is Curry chicken over rice. Did not even give me a pita bread to go with my hummus .. Middle Eastern imposter.
I ordered daal makhni from Taibah through Uber Eats and it was amazing. The portion size was generous way more than I expected ,and the taste was absolutely delicious. Really happy with the quality and value. Definitely ordering again!
false advertisement on uber eats. family meal doesn’t come with enough rice for 2 people let alone 4, salad is enough for 1 person. why advertise a family meal that simply can’t feed a family of 4.
Okay. I never usually complain about restaurants and what not. But seriously I've tried almost every shawarma place in St Catharines. And there are all around the same level quality. Maybe with slight differences. But they're all pretty good. This guy serves me a bunch of large pieces of chicken over rice. The main point of shwarma is basically having it as shredded as possible. He barely had any garlic sauce left so just used what was there which wasn't enough to cover it at all. Then the bill comes up to 21.99 for a large chicken shawarma plate plus a coke but the price was advertised as 12.99. And on top of that when he went to hand me my change I noticed his whole finger was sliced open with visible blood covered up by what appeared to be toilet paper maybe? If you see this comment I'll gladly return my plate and I want my money back. Nice guy don't get me wrong but seriously? A bloody hand? Up charging? Running out of supplies? Even the rice just tasted plain. Come on dude. Take pride in your business.
I ordered a surprise bag through To Good to Go to be picked up at 7:30 and I arrived at that time, they were closed. They are supposed to be open till 8pm. Will not be going there ever and will be letting everyone I know as well to not give them any business. Douches
such a serve update: i moved away to toronto and ive tried falafel sandwich at multiple places and none of them are as good as taibahs back in st catharines ❤️❤️
Never a bad meal here. Tasty food for a pretty decent price. Chicken shawarma plate is my go to. Always consistent with portions and flavor. Been many times will continue to go back.
