I was met with a smile and seated. I ordered the fish and chips and they were great. My server was very polite and helpful and seemed to really enjoy her job. Good over all experience.
I ordered off of Skip. Chicken strips were amazing! How ever the fish was soggy which they put ontop of the fries, making the fries fish tasting and soggy as well. Also you could tell the oil hasnt been changed in a while as they fries were DARK brown and just tasted like burnt oil. Most likely wont be ordering from them again.
Dance floor is a little small and they dont have ingredients to make some drinks
Major contender for worst restaurant food in St. Catharines. Draft beer always has that unpleasant draft beef taste. You're a popular bar, at least serve good beer, am I right? If you like stale Budweiser, this is your place. Why are there so many items on the menu? Maybe pick the 15 worst dishes and remove them? That would be a start.
This review is based on the food solely, know that when you read it. The staff are great and the atmosphere is great as well. It's a really good place to get a drink and hang out. The trivia nights are awesome with really good drink specials. However, aside from the Thursday wing special the food really needs to improve, honestly. Everything is made well but the value is not good for the price. I have eaten here several times and have felt this way. The prices are far too high for what you get when applied to some of the menu offerings, the nachos being one example. This review will not keep me from visiting Gords, just from ordering food on future visits.
