Nice mall. Up to date and doesnt feel like you are going back in time to an old run down mall. Lots of parking although the entrances and exits along Glendale can get busy. Passport office and theatres are convenient.
I go here at least a couple times a week for lunch and my favourite place to eat is Villa Shawarma. They have the freshest food and they're not that expensive. The Pen Centre also had a variety of clothing shops, book stores and shoe stores. They also have the biggest theater in St. Catherines. I have a good time when I'm there and I think most people would.
I brought my son's 87 year old baptism sponsor with me on my second visit in five years. to the Pen. It had been upgraded greatly since my last visit. I picked up a map of all the stores. If you knew me, you would agree a map is necessary. There was a beautiful marble floor. The mall was extremely well laid out. Most important, the prices were great, much better than the mall at NOTL. The Food Court has a wide selection of all types of food at reasonable prices. After walking around for 2 hours we sat for a well needed break. The tables were updated and very clean, spotless. No garbage anywhere. A delightful way to lose weight by walking in many stores.
Modern and clean shopping center. Open bright and spacious. Has a very interesting history that you'd never know by looking at it. Look it up sometime if you're interested.
Mac Cosmetics: first orange lipstick purchase in years... thanks to the associate for her great customer service. Hudson's Bay: Bay colors heart socks, Sunrise Records: artist: Fozzy, Cd purchase, and Carlton Cards is selling the coolest stuff, for instance a Halloween toque, with ghost eyes that light up! I want that but passed it up. I own too many hats! Also our winters are mild...
