I love this Sobeys. It's clean and fresh and fairly new. The store has a nice layout and offers a great variety in all its departments. It has a huge deli with cheese from around the world, a large meat counter and a big hot deli that has a lot to choose from. It has a large meat and seafood department as well as a large bakery area that offers lots of different baked goods as well as gluten free. It has a pharmacy and a large floral department with lots to choose from. I shop here regularly.
Way way over priced. This place is alway clean because hardly anyone there. Never a line up. There sales equal the regular price of items bought at no frill or food basics. Big bag Doritos is 4.99 at Sobeys and always 2.99 at no frills. No Frills chips will have a later expiry date because they sell way more.
On the smaller side of the sobeys I have been to, but they had everything that I was looking for. The chocolate section seemed a little small, but I think I found everything I was looking for. Great looking fruit and produce section.
I love the layout of this store with its non-rectangular nature. There's great bread baked in-house and they have great sales around 7 p.m. just before a holiday when they are closed. I'd probably choose this grocery store over the others unless something was on sale elsewhere. Too bad this store does not price compare. There's usually no lineups like you sometimes get at Food Basics. Sometimes they have great samples.
Excellent Grocery store! I love that they always have fresh produce, an excellent bakery, deli, and meat department. Friendly Staff, and a very clean store. They always have great sale's on, and a great selection of products. I don't mind paying a little extra for meat, and produce sometimes because it last much longer and I find it's a higher quality. I highly recommend this grocery store. They have a great selection of products.
