Purchased a vehicle from Matt at the end of June. Unfortunately 2 days after picking it up, vehicle started having transmission issues. Not only that but we started noticing a thudding noise in the front end and an exhaust leak. Not sure how it would have passed the safety with an exhaust leak but somehow it did. The exhaust leak was fixed and front bushings replaced by their mechanic but over the next 2.5 months we continually had to drop the car off (and go without a car) just to leave it for days on end in order to have him keep telling us he didn’t feel anything going on with the transmission. After insisting that the shutter was happening 90% of the time we drove it, Matt took it straight to Nissan and had it hooked up to their code reader and sure enough it threw a transmission shutter code. Only reason I gave them 2 stars is because Matt was at least willing to fix the issue. We gave him the benefit of the doubt. He replaced the transmission for us with another used transmission. They lost 3 stars on this review because a week later had it driven back to us and 5 min after having it dropped off, I took it to pick my kids up from school and noticed the engine was now making a new knocking noise and it was leaking fluid all over my driveway. Unfortunately for us and Matt his mechanic sucks at what he does. What kind of mechanic lets a vehicle leave his shop leaking fluid and making a whole new random noise from some random area of the vehicle baffles me. I don’t even think the mechanic took it for a drive to make sure what repairs he did on the vehicle were a success. Thankfully for us Matt lets us return the car and we got our $ back (I will at least give him that) . At this point we had no faith in whomever his mechanic was and no longer wanted to deal with all the back and forth of bringing it in for even more repairs. We needed a vehicle (like yesterday) and decided to go through a used car dealership instead of marketplace because we were supposed to be getting something that was already safetied and the piece of mind that there was also a 60 day power train warranty. I wouldn’t recommend going to Certified Pre Owned if you want a huge headache, major stress and a whole lot of missed work from buying a vehicle that has nothing but problems. Especially if you rely on a vehicle for travelling to work everyday and getting your 3 kids to all their sports on a daily basis. Huge pain in the ass from June- September for me and my family. Bad experience

I have boughten many vehicles from this place when Brent still was working there, he’s the owner. Now it’s been past down to the son. I bought a 2014 Chevy Cruze, it drove great during the test drive, and for about 6 months. Than the issues started with the coolant leaks. Took it back and “ their mechanics” fixed the issue costing me 1500.00, my warranty ran out by little more kms. Drove the car for a week issues started again. Took it to a real macanic and was told there was silicon, sealant and other issues that should have been fixed properly. So here we are today and my macanic found the core of the problem, someone stuck something in a hose to hold it in place, well that piece finally burst off and coolant splashed my macanic and burnt him. I will never buy a car here again I was nothing but a great customer for years and sent ppl to them. Not no more. I wish Brent was around so I could show him all the receipts and the lists their guys gave me and half the stuff wasn’t done. Buyer beware of this place.
I had purchased a beautiful gmc canyon in December and Matt was amazing to work with, he worked hard and answered every need of mine, and jumped through hoops to get an amazing deal in place that I was comfortable and confident with! A buddy sent me a new listing Certified had on their site. I called and made arrangements with Matt and Lee to take it for a test drive. I live in Trenton Ontario and made the 3 hour plus drive through Toronto rush hour to see them. Made a deal the next morning to pick up the car a week later, very happy with all communication especially when considering the distance. The car I bought was a nothing super special but a car I wanted and only 4 of them available between London and Montreal. Certified had a great fair price when compared to other sellers and I'm sure I will be doing more business with Certified Cars in the future. I check out their inventory regularly to see what other unique jems they get in .
Very welcoming, fast and efficient with helping me pick out a car. Couldnt be anymore happy. 6yrs later, wish Kerri was the one I dealt with. Yes Matt helped with the peeling paint, but when I picked the car up. The back up camera wasn't working, car smelt like cigarettes, got an oil change andbwas told there was barelyany oil in the car and that where i bought the car from must of not done one. I was desperate for a car and overlooked lots of things and I'm regretting buying from certified, thinking I'd have the same great experience. But now I'm left paying thousands & thousands of dollars all while I watch the paint peel off and no back up camera etc.
