Tried to return an audio cord to them for sega genesis, but I was past their return policy date. It was only 9.99$ and the guy smiled and laughed at me. I said you can just have it then I don’t need it and proceeded to leave. He then repeated “it was past the due date” I replied “you can have it I’m not from here, I’m from welland” great customer service over 9.99$. The gas alone to drive there for that would have been a waste so I didn’t wanna make an extra trip back. December 6 2025 at 7:40pm ?
Great selection and always offer some sort of discount. This has become my go to place when I’m looking at retro gaming!! Shout out to the staff who are always friendly and easy to talk to!
I've shopped here plenty and most time find a great new retro game I forgot of or something I'm hunting down at a decent price. The staff has been super friendly and open to talking about any of the product they have available as well. Definitely recommend if you're looking to grab some retro games or just popping in to see what they have!
Friday September 12, 2025 at 6:22pm I went to go into gaming gators on Glendale avenue in st. Catharine’s. The door was locked and said I’ll return at 6:blank pm leaving room to return whenever within a hour. I get it people have breaks. I did some errands for 30 min with my wife came back and the door was still locked. I pointed to the time to my wife because it was a return within a hour basis. then went back to my car I saw a worker get out of his car and shake his head angrily and wrote a time on his return. I thought he was just returning from a break at first. So I go to open the door and He tells me he’s just going on lunch now as he writes an exact time on the door like he just started break. I then waited over 35 more minutes before I left and no one returned to unlock the door. This isn’t the first time this has happend. The same week I also called about a sports game and asked if they had it and how much was it. All the guy could say is we should but I’m not sure it’s not infont of me. Absolute laziness. That’s why I thought I’d write this review. I called the other location and from what they told me breaks are 30 minutes not timed but not well over a hour. I ushally don’t write reviews but absolute laziness and entitlement got to me this time. For all the other people waiting and checking the locked door every 20 minutes for over a hour I know u feel me.
I would recommend going to this store if your looking for cheap games, lots of games to choose from starting from the ps1all the way to the ps5 (also Xbox, Wii ect). Definitely will be coming back to this store in the future ?
A few months back I brought in a bunch of games. When I came back to pick up the money they were giving me for the games, I noticed some of the games still in the case. When I asked the guy why they didn't want them thinking maybe they didn't work or something like that, a guy from the other side of the store yells out "we're full on stock" before the other guy could even answer. Never dealing with this store again
I just drove 45 minutes to get to your store. You are the nearest store to me for trade ins. Today is Sunday January 8. I’m sitting here in front of your store at 11:25am. It’s closed. No one is here. The store says it’s open at 9:30am on Sundays. Online it says it’s open at 7:00am on Sundays. Two more customers have come by since I’ve been here confused by your hours. They are different everywhere! UPDATE YOUR HOURS!
