We cannot recommend this location and Omar (owner) enough! After our car broke down while on a vacation from the US, this location happened to be within walking distance of where we were at the time. After reading some of the reviews, we were skeptical, but given our situation we didn't have much choice. Thankfully we lucked into finding one of the most customer focused car rental agencies we've ever used! Omar was incredibly empathetic to our situation and went above and beyond to help us any way he could to limit the costs given the amount of time we needed the rental. I certainly hope I never find myself in the same situation of needing a car from here again, but should I ever need to rent something in St. Catherine's, I will absolutely rent here!
Recently rented a car from Avis at this location , the pick experience was great , agent was friendly helpful and completed all checks very quickly. The drop off experience on the other hand was a like pulling teeth !! The agent spent a good 15 mins inspecting the car , even got on his hands and knees, started picking up every little piece of garbage that was in between the seats and throwing it out onto the sidewalk , got the point where I just had to leave because I couldn’t keep waiting around !! I’ve rented 100s of times this is was the first time I’ve ever experienced something like this. It was as if he was personally trying to find an issue with the car !!
We had a great experience here. Omar assisted us and was very competent and professional. He recommended a very comfortable mini SUV for us that was great on gas. We were renting to deal with an unfortunate emergency, and Omar was very empathetic and helpful.
Do not rent a car from Avis!!! Staff is confused. They charged us HUNDREDS of dollars extra for no valid reason. We have been trying to contact a manager for 2 weeks with no response. We went in twice to discuss our bill and the same staff member acted like she had never seen us before. We have large groups of family visiting and we will be taking our business elsewhere.
Terrible customer service. Was charged tons of additional fees. Car had no gas, or washer fluid, and was dirty. Tried to resolve the charges in person and was told there was nothing they could do and I needed to call the 1-800 #. Will not rent here again. Just pay the extra money to get quality somewhere else, probably end up cheaper anyways.
I booked twice with them. The first experience was excellent. The second one, the car was all dirty because they said their washing Karcher broke. I had to travel 1200km with a dirty car... but the service is kind, and once I arrived late, AVIS charged me an extra hour but the manager kindly waived the fee for me.
I rent vehicles from this location for work. Literally 1000s of dollars a month. Never have the vehicle that I have requested in. Always trying to give me a compact suv in place of full size suv. I generally have a rental 3 out 4 weeks of the month depending hoe long my job goes. Was charged a late fee becuase I returned a vehicle 1 hour after I was scheduled too. Even tho I am an avis preferred plus member.
