Nice place to walk around, have a picnic, listen to live music when it's there. If you are a beach goer it's a nice beach. Covered picnic table area. Change rooms and bathrooms on site.
beautiful place. Perfect for swimming, BBQs, and family get away. Many cottages and bed and breakfast places in the area you can rent at affordable prices. Book early on long weekends!
In the past, this beach hasn't been so great. Stinky algae, floods, unswimmable water, etc. But now they've really upped their game! There's a new playground for the kids, a clean beach, and plenty of shade for those who want it. It's even got a gazebo with a path out into the sand for those who are in wheelchairs. And the carousel is as affordable as it's always been. On a hot August day like today, it was packed! Get there early if you want good parking. And if you're in from out of town, this is a must-see!
Nice and quiet beach, very clean and beautiful with washrooms nearby. It's right by the marina and 2 light houses and as a bonus the parking is free.
Great park and a great place for kids. I enjoy allot of the event that go on there as well. Just be careful of goose poop in the field.
