I got quoted a stupid amount to fix my muffler leak at another muffler joint. Popped in here to Midas for another quote and paid 1/10th the price for a gasket fix and they fixed it right away. Dawn and Ricky rocked it! Thanks so much! (And...this place is the cleanest mechanic shop in the city!)
I have been going to this Midas for over a decade! Always the best service! Shout out to Dawn she’s always so nice and welcoming!!! Came in today in a rush and they fit be in just before closing with no issue or fuss! Always happy and knowledgeable and willing to help!
I was recently out of town for work and noticed I was due for an oil change so I made the appointment with midas. I drove my car from Midas back to my job site (about an 8 minute drive). When I went to go back to the hotel at the end of the day, my car wouldn't start and I had to have it towed back to Guelph costing over $600. There was nothing wrong with the car before this. DONT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE! I will be seeking legal advice.
My husband brought our truck in to be looked at for some front end work and an alignment Once again Danny Forbes the new guy decided to do work without it being authorized after my husband specifically told them not to do any wrk as we can get the parts ourselves and then get the work done .Danny even told him wrong information in regards to what had to be done . My husband went to pick up the truck and was told that the bearing was already in and he had to pay for it. On the receipt it stated that Danny had got authorization from my self which never happened I went in the next day to speak with someone and I got Danny at the desk . Needless to say he has no manager skills nor customer service because his way of dealing with customer complaints is to call the police on them instead of trying to resolution. Very poor people skills and should not be in the position he is in Midas do your self a favor and have the employee replaced before he ruins your reputation.. after reading other reviews this seems to be a pattern of unauthorized work bring done . UPDATE: AUG 31 BROUGHT OUR TRUCK IN TO CANADIAN TIRE TO HAVE FRONT TIRES CHANGED . RECEIVED A CALL THE THE DRIVERS SIDE BALL JOINT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED .. THIS PLACE INTENTIONALLY RIPPED US OFF NO WORK WAS COMPLETED ON THE VEHICLE AND THEY FLAT OUT LIED THIS IS FRUAD
I enjoy coming here for my oil change as they are really friendly especially Dona! Prices here can be high for other services, but for oil change I come here.
I highly recommend the Midas location on Hartzel in St. Catharines, I have been going there for years and always very satisfied with my dealings there. Dawn (front of shop) and Ricky (mechanic) go above and beyond.
I have been going to this location for 15 years, I have never been disappointed yet. I have to tip my Hat off to Dawn and Ricky, always so accommodating and willing to take the time to explain things before we go ahead with the job. If ever I'm unsure about something they are always willing to take the time and walk me through it. Unlike other shops that try to sell you something you don't really need. You don't know how much I appreciate the things you do and can't thank you guys enough for what you do for me and my whole family. Thank you!
