Had a tour of the Bed &Breakfast it's beautiful and Katherine is so sweet!

I always like going here, my wife and I always try to go each summer, they are lovely people.

Absolutely top notch establishment. Katherine is the soul of kindness, doing advanced yoga if required to ensure guests' comfort and contentment. The house is beautifully appointed with a prime location for walking about Port Dalhousie, or a short drive around St. Catharines. Rooms are comfortable and private, and as lovely as the rest of the house. Breakfast here is available as a sit down event with other guests, or takeaway if you're on the go; either way the breakfasts are delicious, fresh, and healthy. I would absolutely stay here any time I was in the greater Niagara area!

Our stay at Simcoe Suites was absolutely fantastic. The day of our arrival was full of issues; car troubles, misplaced passports, and traffic delays. Katherine at Simcoe Suites was patient, helpful, and understanding through it all. After our amazing breakfast prepared by Katherine, we followed her recommendations and took a morning stroll. We quickly realized how friendly, welcoming, and beautiful this town is. Our initial intention was to use our stay as a quick wine tour stop, breaking up the drive to our ultimate destination in Parry Sound. However, after our walk around town (everything within minutes of Simcoe Suites) we were convinced that Port Dalhousie would be our new weekend getaway location. That opinion was confirmed as we continued our day. The wineries in the area are fantastic (we were excited by the amount of dry wines available). We experienced our first buttertarts at 13th Street Wineries (we even took 6 along to spread the buttertart gospel with our families). Once we were loaded up on wine for the rest of trip, we returned to Simcoe Suites and walked down to the beach before our dinner reservations in town. The next day, our last, saw another amazing breakfast, full of local ingredients, expertly prepared by Katherine. Lastly, with Balzac's Coffee so close, we walked down to grab an ice coffee for the road.Overall, our trip could not have been any better. Katherine is a warm, welcoming, and fun presence. Her personality echoes the house itself, with it's large porches, thriving flower beds, and open, character filled rooms. She did a fantastic job of being helpful and present, without becoming overbearing or insistent. Admittedly, this was our first stay at a Bed & Breakfast, but the bar has now been set exceeding high for our standards. We will definitely be back again.
