Went for a small, intimate wedding. The service and attentiveness of the servers was top notch. The food was amazing! Overall, the venue was beautiful and quaint. Rustic and stylish. Now I am intrigued to make some reservations for dinner now that I have been introduced to the Stone Mill Inn.
Spent the evening for a wedding. Rooms were beautiful, staff was awesome, food was amazing. We had the patio for reception and a ballroom upstairs for dinner, both very comfortable arrangements! Rooms were a bit on the snug side but clean and quiet.
Rooms are super clean and spacious, staff is super friendly and courteous, but .... we came at 1 am after driving all day and hoped for good night sleep, unfortunately our room 209 was right next to large air unit for entire hotel and gave hauling noise non stop like industrial size AC; we slept with ear plugs... then 6:15am on Friday morning garbage and recycling trucks arrived and were making horrendous noise banging large metal garbage containers :( so regardless ear plugs they woke us up. Not the rest we were hoping for but we would ask for a different room next time and specify that we need a quiet peaceful room.
This hotel was fantastic! The building is centuries old and was originally a paper mill. There are a handful of businesses in the building and the hotel is a recent addition. The room was new, clean and well appointed and the bathroom was modern and clean. The one thing that isn't amazing is that the check in desk does not keep regular hours. We had to let them know ahead of time when we would arrive. As many travelers know, this can be easier said than done, and still the front desk was closed. Since we arrived at 2 in the afternoon, this was a bit annoying but not enough to knock off any stars. There is a restaurant in the building but it is separate from the hotel so there is no breakfast or room service if that is important to you. We loved staying here and would definitely recommend it!
Lovely and romantic night away. The rooms are beautiful with stone walls and modern touches. Way better quality than most Niagara Falls hotels I have stayed at and costs less. There is a great restaurant in the hotel and a Keg across the street as well as an LCBO.
