I dont even know where to start. Our blinds were installed, they were not the blinds I ordered, and pieces of them were broken. I called the store, and was told someone would get back to me. No one ever did. We kept calling the OWNER for two months and were told that its our mistake, we need to pay $245 for someone to come get them and that it will take awhile because they will be doing new orders before ours. 4 months later we got our new blinds. The owner did a terrible job (there are still broken pieces) and the installer installed them crooked. We noticed some hardware was missing...well we know where it is. We opened our windows and the hardware is stuck between our window frames! They will charge another $85 for someone to come fix that. We went to Benjamin Moore for the remainder of our blinds and they are wonderful! Great customer service, and the owners show pride in their work.

After a season of having my outdoor blinds it was time to take them down and at this point the problems began. In attempting to take them down it was clear one blind was not coming down. I phoned the company and was told someone would be sent out to take it down at a Service charge $85.00. I was then told I could leave it outside for the winter and cover it, which is what I did.When we removed the protective plastic in the spring we found that the edges had frayed. Had it not been covered how much more damage would have been done. I phoned Better Shades and someone was sent out to assess the damage. When the gentleman took down the blind I was told the original measurement done by Better Shades was off by a full half inch hence the difficulty in my attempting to remove the blind for storage over the winter months. I was never told there would be a charge as this was the mistake of Better Shades. It was measured incorrectly at the time of the order.I then received a phone call to inform me the shade had been repaired and they were coming to install. Imagine my shock when I was handed an invoice for $245. Because of an error made by Better Shades. not even a year ago I paid them 994.40 for two outdoor Shades.I refused to pay the invoice and was told by the installer that he had to take the blind back, which he did.Now i have nothing to show for half of my original order, which I paid for in good faith.Buyer Beware
